ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad administration has established February 13, 2026 as the ultimate date when people must submit traditional stamp papers because the government introduced an electronic stamping system.

The newly established e-stamping regulations in Islamabad prohibit all public and private organizations from handling physical judicial and non-judicial stamp papers after the date of February 13.

The authorities have ordered all stamp vendors in the Islamabad Capital Territory to sell their remaining manual stamp paper inventory before February 12.

The vendors need to submit their Stamp Vendor Registers and rubber stamps to the Additional Deputy Commissioner Revenue and District Collector Islamabad office on February 13.

Officials warned that Islamabad e-stamping deadline violations will result in legal actions against all departments offices courts and individuals who breach this rule.

The capital administration introduced the e-stamping system on February 1 which replaced the existing manual stamping method.

Officials predict that the digital system will enable faster stamp issuance processes while increasing operational visibility and decreasing fraudulent activities in property and real estate transactions.
