QUETTA: In a tragic incident, at least seven people died and seventeen others sustained injuries when a passenger coach and truck collided at the Uthal Zero Point in Hub, according to police.
The truck loaded with heavy stones rammed into a passenger coach, which was en route to Karachi from Panjgur.
The deceased includes women and children, while the critically injured have been taken to Civil Hospital Karachi.
The other injured were taken to District Headquater Hospital Uthal for further treatment.
In a statement, the administration stated that the injured were being transported to nearest hospitals and given medical care.
The provincial spokesperson also expressed condolences and solidarity to the afflicted families, and the district administration has been ordered to provide full aid and relief measures.
Authorities have initiated a probe to investigate the cause of the accident.
