Earthquake tremors felt in parts of country, no casualties reported

KARACHI: Earthquake tremors were felt in Karachi and Balochistan, spreading panic among the people.

Earthquake tremors were felt in the areas of II Chand Regar Road, Saddar, Clifton, PECHS and DHA in Karachi.

The magnitude of the earthquake was 5.2, the depth was 12 km, while the epicenter was in Somiani, 87 km from Karachi.

According to sources, earthquake tremors were also felt in the Site Area, Tipu Sultan Road, Pehlwan Goth and Bahria Town.

Earlier, an earthquake of magnitude 3.2 struck Sibi and its surrounding areas.

The epicenter was 53 kilometers southwest of Sibi. The earthquake spread fear and panic among the people, but no loss of life or property was reported.
