ISLAMABAD: Pakistani citizens are required to obtain a Schengen visa for Italy to visit the European country as a tourist.

The European country of Italy is known for its rich history, stunning scenery, and vibrant culture, and the country is one of the most sought-after tourist destinations in the world.

From the ancient ruins of Rome and the romantic canals of Venice to the art treasures of Florence, tourists can enjoy world-class cuisine.

Whether you are looking for history, adventure, or relaxation, Italy’s cities ensure a memorable experience for all types of travelers.

Statistics show that Italy’s Schengen visa approval rate in 2024 was 88.72%, making it the third country in Europe with the highest Schengen visa approvals.

However, visa approval depends purely on the visa application and related documents such as bank statements.

Minimum Bank Statement for Italy Schengen Visa in 2025

Bank statement, a document that shows that you have sufficient financial resources to stay in Italy. It should not be older than 30 days.

Reports state that the minimum daily amount required to cover the costs of your stay in Italy is 28 euros. The applicant will have to show sufficient funds for the days he/she intends to spend there.

If you are planning to stay for a maximum of 90 days on a Schengen visa, you will need 2520 euros to cover the costs of your stay.

As of November 4, 2025, one euro is equal to 331 rupees. This means that if your stay in Italy is for 90 days, you should have approximately 834,000 rupees in your bank account.
