Faisal Vawda signals 28th Amendment plans

ISLAMABAD: Senator Faisal Vawda has revealed that if the 27th Amendment is passed, we are also preparing for the 28th Amendment, all political parties related to the 27th Amendment will be taken into confidence.

According to the details, Senator Faisal Vawda, while talking to a private TV channel, revealed that he had told on October 22, 2024 that the 27th Amendment will also come, if the 27th Amendment is passed, we are also preparing for the 28th Amendment.

Senator Vawda said that the guarantor of democracy is the PPP, and Bilawal Bhutto is a democratic figure, who and his family have made countless sacrifices for democracy.

Faisal Vawda said that the working relationship between the PPP and the PML-N is very good, and all political parties related to the 27th Amendment will be taken into confidence.

He said that the need for a constitutional court was there before and still is, a constitutional bench was formed due to lack of steps in the past.

The former minister further said that when weak politicians can work, extension of tenure is also inevitable, the defense system needs to be strengthened and preparation for multi-domain warfare is essential.

Senator Vawda said that everything is going on by consensus, so that no problems arise in the country.

He said that Maulana Fazlur Rehman is our elder, he will definitely agree to the talks, while if someone wants a discussion on the 27th Amendment, that is also possible.
