Eight illegal housing societies dismantled during Anti encroachment drive

FAISALABAD: The Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA) has dismantled the illegally built infrastructure of eight unlawful housing societies in the Dijkot area.

The action was taken after the authorities found the development of four unapproved housing societies and four katchi abadies in Chak No. 262-RB and Chak No. 263-RB.

Gulshan-e-Habib, New Gulberg, Hidayat Town, and Ali Garden are the societies where the FDA demolished roads, boundary walls, and other built structures associated with the illegal developments.

The operation was led by Asma Mohsin, Director of Town Planning, and Aneeb Aslam Randhawa, Estate Officer.

Officials have advised developers that in order to gain official permission, they must comply with all legal and administrative criteria. Failure to cooperate might result in additional legal action, including potential criminal penalties.
