GILGIT: The Election Commission has announced the official results of the Gilgit-Baltistan elections, according to media reports.
The Election Commission has announced the official results of 21 out of 24 constituencies. According to the notification issued by the Election Commission, the PPP won 9 seats, the PML-N won 6, the IPP won 4, the MWM won 1, and an independent candidate won 1 seat.
According to the notification, the results of GBA-9 Skardu, GBA-17 Diamer, and GBA-15 Diamer will be announced later.
According to the Election Commission, out of the 6 reserved seats for women, 3 went to the PPP, 2 to the PML-N, and one to the IPP.
Out of the 3 technocrat seats, the PPP, PML-N, and IPP won one seat each.
