ISLAMABAD (ABN NEWS): PTI lawyer Faisal Chaudhry, speaking on ABN News, delivered a scathing critique of the current government and opposition, stating that corruption is rampant and no task seems possible without it.
He said public representatives, despite their direct connection to the people, are failing to reflect public interests, and all matters are being “managed” behind the scenes inappropriately.
Chaudhry alleged that the Ramzan Sugar Mills has significant partnerships with the children of the Sharif brothers. He clarified that while Shahbaz Sharif’s family is involved in the business, Nawaz Sharif’s family exited financially in the 1990s.
Regarding Imran Khan, he claimed Khan’s sons will eventually visit him, but no confirmed plans for their return to Pakistan exist yet. He emphasized that legal decisions must occur domestically, but in the absence of justice, international forums sometimes become necessary.
He further criticized the PTI’s internal political immaturity, highlighting how individuals lacking political understanding are often given leadership roles. He warned that political movements require unity and timing—both of which PTI currently lacks.
Chaudhry concluded by stating, “The government is lucky to have an incompetent opposition.”
