Fake abduction videos go viral, Islamabad police expose entire plot

ISLAMABAD: The case of a citizen who was allegedly kidnapped from the federal capital and reached Kutch has become a drop scene. The police have claimed that the citizen himself staged the kidnapping.

According to police sources, the accused Nooruddin, with the help of his two friends, made fake videos of the kidnapping and made them viral on social media. The accused’s aim was allegedly to register cases against his opponents and avoid the money owed to him.

According to sources, Nooruddin had obtained huge amounts of money from various people through fraud, and instead of returning the money, he staged the kidnapping.

SP City Ayaz and his team, acting with the help of modern technology and human intelligence, arrested the accused and his two accomplices from Rahim Yar Khan, police sources.

It should be remembered that the case of Nooruddin’s disappearance was registered on May 1 at Aabpara police station on the complaint of his brother, Saifuddin, in which the accused was.
