CHARSADDA: JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has announced nationwide protests against the martyrdom of Maulana Sheikh Muhammad Idrees.
Speaking at Sheikh Idrees’ residence, Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that the institutions should immediately arrest the killers of Shaheed Sheikh Idrees, and that protests will be held across the country on Friday against his martyrdom.
He said that he will give the plan of action at a rally in Karachi. Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that the separation of Sheikh Idrees is a big shock for the Muslim Ummah.
Maulana, who gave the message of peace, himself fell victim to brutality. The JUI chief said that rulers and institutions should not take free salaries for the protection of the people; they are causing riots and bloodshed in the country.
