Federal govt unveils free professional courses

ISLAMABAD: The Government of Pakistan, through a special initiative of the Prime Minister, has launched a programme offering free three to six-month vocational training courses for children of overseas Pakistanis, although adults are also free to join.

The scheme is a joint effort of the National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC) and the Overseas Pakistanis Foundation (OPF).

Here’s Available Courses

Participants will be able to enroll in training programs in modern and in-demand fields, including:

  • Digital Marketing
  • Cybersecurity
  • Artificial Intelligence
  • Web Development
  • Electrician Training
  • Welding
  • Other technical and vocational disciplines

Eligibility Criteria for Courses

Applicants must have completed matriculation (Grade 10) or higher education to be eligible for enrollment. The program targets individuals in the 18 to 40 years age bracket, ensuring that both young adults and mid-career individuals can benefit from skill development opportunities.

The last date to apply is 30 September 2025. Applicants are advised to register early to secure a spot, as seats are limited and demand is expected to be high.

The initiative aims to equip the children of overseas Pakistanis with practical skills in both technical and digital fields, enabling them to secure better employment opportunities in Pakistan and abroad.
