Foreign woman allegedly kidnapped, assaulted in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: A horrific incident happened today in G-6 Islamabad, where a foreign woman was found lying on the side of a road in a terrible condition.

A local resident found the lady and immediately called Rescue 15. The rescue team swiftly went to the location and shifted the victim to Poly Clinic Islamabad for further medical checkups.

According to the police sources, the victim was kidnapped and sexually assaulted before the culprits left her lying on the road.

The victim is identified as a 28-year-old, Belgian national, although her identity remains anonymous.

Moreover, in her first interrogation with the police personnel, she stated that armed men kidnapped her and sexually assaulted the victim for 5 days. The culprits tied the victims’ hands and feet before escaping the location.

Islamabad police and other security teams are doing several operations to arrest the suspects, however, they have not been found yet.
