RAWALPINDI: Former Chief of Army Staff General (retd) Qamar Javed Bajwa has been hospitalised after sustaining injuries due to a fall at his residence, sources said.
According to initial reports, the former army chief received injuries on different parts of his body after he slipped and fell at home.
Providing further details, family sources added that Gen (retd) Bajwa also suffered a head injury and was shifted to the intensive care unit (ICU) for treatment. Doctors are monitoring his condition.
Further details about his health are yet to be disclosed.
