Full court reference scheduled for Oct 25 on retirement of CJP Qazi Faez Isa

ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court registrar confirming the retirement of Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Qazi Faez Isa, scheduled a full court reference on October 25, Friday, in honor of the outgoing CJP.

In a letter, written to the President Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA), the Registrar’s Office informed the SCBA about the full court reference, scheduled for Oct 25 — when CJP Qazi Faez Isa will retire.

According to the letter, a copy of which is available with Daily Ausaf, the reference will take place on Friday at 10:30 am in Court Room No. 1 of the Supreme Court Building.

The full court reference is a customary practice to pay tribute to the outgoing chief justice for his contributions to the judiciary and legal fraternity.

Justice Mansoor Ali Shah is next in line to be the country’s top judge after CJP Isa’s retirement.
