FAISALABAD: The Government College University Faisalabad (GCUF) has postponed the final examinations, scheduled for January 16 and 17 over the planned visit of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz to the institution.
According to the notification issued by the university’s Directorate of Academics, the paper of the final examination for all BS, MPhil & PhD programs which have to be conducted on January 16 and 17, have been rescheduled.
The final exams were delayed due to the visit of CM Maryam Nawaz to the university regarding the Honhaar Scholarship distribution ceremony.
“The said paper will be conducted at the end of the final examination,” the notification read.
Apart from this announcement, the notification also added that the administration has relaxed attendance criteria up to 70% in the final examination of Fall Semester 2024-25.
