KARACHI: The Sindh government has announced a holiday in educational institutions across the province on the occasion of Shab-e-Barat.
The Sindh School Education Department has issued an official notification in this regard, which states that all government and private schools in Sindh will remain closed on February 4.
According to the notification, the holiday will apply to every educational institution in the province so that students and teachers can participate in worship and ceremonies on the occasion of Shab-e-Barat.
Earlier, the Punjab government has also announced a holiday in educational institutions across the province on the occasion of Shab-e-Barat.
Parents and students have expressed happiness with this action of the Sindh government and the school administration has also completed its preparations for the holiday.
The announcement of the holiday will give students the opportunity to participate in religious ceremonies and school activities will be temporarily suspended across the province on the occasion.
