ISLAMABAD: The federal government has good news for the pilgrims going for Hajj in 2025 by reducing the package costs. Now the 40-day Hajj package will cost Rs. 1,050,000, with a Rs. 25,000 discount from the original price.
The short Hajj package of 25 days will cost Rs. 1,100,000, which is a discount of Rs. 50,000. This agreement came to be after successful negotiations with Saudi authorities, and it was a big win for the pilgrims.
This time around, the pilgrims will have to deposit the third installment between February 6 and 14 at selected banks, for a price of Rs. 450,000 for the long package and Rs. 500,000 for the short package.
In another achievement, the government is also refunding Rs. 4.75 billion to last year’s pilgrims, which is comparatively a huge refund. Under the agreement for Hajj 2025, 179,210 Pakistanis shall perform the pilgrimage, and they can expect better facilities and reduced accommodation costs in Mina.
In addition to this, a specific mobile app will provide real-time updates, flight schedules, training schedules, and live maps. This will help keep the pilgrims organized and updated throughout their trip. A great year for Hajj pilgrims is in the making; package prices are down, and things are looking brighter in terms of facilities.
