Health Card facility to be activated across AJK on PM’s directive

MUZAFFARABAAD: Azad Jammu and Kashmir Prime Minister Faisal Mumtaz Rathore has directed the concerned authorities to immediately activate the Health Card facility across the region.

Terming the initiative an important public welfare project, Prime Minister Rathore said that it will enable the poor and middle class to easily access quality medical treatment facilities.

The Prime Minister said that under the Health Card facility, citizens will be able to get medical treatment without financial pressure, which will help strengthen the overall health system of Azad Jammu and Kashmir.

He said that this scheme is being introduced to ensure the provision of affordable, quality, and dignified medical facilities to all sections of society.

The Prime Minister directed the concerned departments to complete all administrative and technical matters related to the scheme immediately, and there should be no delay in the launch of Health Card services.

He clarified that public relief schemes are among the top priorities of the government as they directly benefit the common citizens.

The launch of this scheme in Azad Jammu and Kashmir is being described as a continuation of the policy of promoting social security and health coverage at the national level.
