Here’s how to get subsidized petrol for bikes in Punjab

Petrol sales drop across Pakistan amid rising prices

LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has announced a major relief package aimed at easing the financial burden on citizens, particularly motorbike users across the province.

Under the initiative, motorbike owners will be eligible to receive up to 20 litres of petrol per month at a subsidised rate of Rs100 per litre. The scheme is set to take effect from April 4, with multiple application options provided for public convenience.

Citizens can apply by calling the helpline 1000, using the ‘Maryam Ko Batayen’ mobile application, or visiting the official web portal.

In another significant move, the chief minister also announced that there will be no charges for the registration or transfer of motorbikes in Punjab, offering additional relief to the public.

Maryam Nawaz said the government is committed to supporting the common man and reducing the impact of rising fuel prices and inflation through targeted measures.
