IHC announces revised Ramadan court timings

Islamabad High Court announces summer holidays

ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) and lower courts have announced revised judicial and office timings for the month of Ramadan.

Following approval from the Chief Justice, the Registrar’s Office issued an official notification detailing the new schedule.

From the 1st of Ramadan, hearings from Monday to Thursday will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., followed by a judicial break from 11:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Hearings will resume from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.

On Fridays, hearings will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Office hours from Monday to Thursday will be 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., and on Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

In lower courts, hearings will be conducted from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday to Thursday, and 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Fridays.

The revised timings aim to facilitate court proceedings while accommodating the observances of Ramadan.
