ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court has ordered to fix March 11 for the suspension of sentence applications of PTI founder Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi in the 190 million pound case.

The IHC has accepted the application for early hearing of the application for suspension of sentence of Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi in the 190 million pound case.

A division bench of the Islamabad High Court, comprising Chief Justice Sardar Muhammad Sarfraz Dogar and Justice Muhammad Azam Khan, heard various applications for early hearing of the suspension of sentence applications.

Barrister Salman Safdar appeared before the court. During the hearing, the Chief Justice expressed his anger when a large number of pro-PTI lawyers came to the rostrum.

Barrister Salman Safdar argued that the PTI founder has an eye problem, and he is being taken to the hospital for eye treatment.

He is not seeking a hearing on the appeal; the suspension of sentence applications have been pending for a year. The Registrar’s Office is not scheduling our early hearing requests.

Barrister Salman Safdar, while giving arguments, said that various applications have been filed 5 times; we request that our cases be heard.

The court accepted the request for early hearing of the suspension of sentence applications of the founder and Bushra Bibi and directed to fix the case on March 11.
