RAWALPINDI: Former Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan has said that if he is released on parole, he can establish peace between Pakistan and Afghanistan.
Barrister Dr. Saif met with Chairman Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan at Adiala Jail, where the ongoing tension between Pakistan and Afghanistan was discussed in detail.
He said after meeting Imran Khan in jail that the PTI founder expressed deep concern over the growing tension between Pakistan and Afghanistan.
He added while quoting PTI’s former chief, that “a fight between two Muslim neighboring countries is not in anyone’s interest”.
According to Barrister Saif, Imran Khan said that it is better to resolve the disputes between the two countries through negotiations rather than fighting.
He further said that Imran Khan offered to establish peace and said that if he is released on parole, he can play his role in establishing peace and resolving the conflict.
