Rawalpindi – The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) reported on Saturday that five terrorists were slain during a security force raid in the Mir Ali neighborhood of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s North Waziristan district.
The military’s media wing stated that the operation was intelligence-driven and that they also took significant amounts of weapons and ammunition out of their hiding place.
According to the ISPR, the deceased terrorists were engaged in ransom kidnapping and extortion in addition to attacks against security forces.
The PTI founding chairman publicly acknowledged that since the government began negotiations with the Taliban and attempted to placate them by moving them back into the former tribal region, there has been a significant increase in terrorism in Pakistan, particularly in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.

As the nation’s prime minister, the former chairman of the PTI made the decision to have talks because he has always opposed using force to combat terrorism and has even supported the opening of TTP offices in Pakistan.
The police in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are the front-line force that upholds law and order, so the terrorists have been deliberately targeting them to undermine their morale in addition to military personnel and installations.

The TTP terrorists have been operating against Pakistan while using Afghanistan as a base, and despite Islamabad’s repeated demands and reminders from the country’s highest levels of government, Kabul has been unable to stop them.
In the meantime, the government and other opposition parties have questioned and refuted the PTI’s destructive policy.
It is significant to note that the decision to hold talks with the TTP was entirely at odds with the National Action Plan (NAP), which was signed following the December 16, 2014 attack on the Army Public School, as a result of a consensus among all political forces to end the evil of terrorism.
But after taking office, the PTI made no headway on the various issues outlined in the NAP, undoing the progress achieved over the course of the protracted fight to eradicate terrorism in Pakistan.
