Pakistan’s cricket stars, including Pakistan white-ball captain Babar Azam, attended the Nikkah ceremony of Ali Younis, brother of cricket legend Waqar Younis, and national women’s team all-rounder Aliya Riaz, held at Lahore’s Barki Road Farm House.
A number of former cricket stars attended the event, including Azhar Ali, Mohammad Yousuf, Mushtaq Ahmed, Ramiz Raja, Inzamam-ul-Haq, Kamran Akmal, and Misbah-ul-Haq.
Prominent female cricketers including Nida Dar, Anam Amin, Iram Javed, Bisma Mahroof, Sidra Amin, and Natalia Parvez were also present at the event.
Riaz has demonstrated her skill on the cricket field by representing Pakistan in 62 One Day Internationals and 83 Twenty20 matches, and Younis recently demonstrated his talent as a member of the commentary team during the PSL 2024 season.
