QUETTA: In view of security concerns in Balochistan, internet services have been suspended in most areas of the province, including Quetta, for three days.
The provincial government has also closed educational institutions within the limits of the cantonment, however, educational institutions are open in Quetta city and other areas of the province. Citizens are facing severe difficulties due to the shutdown of internet and transport.
After the attacks on Wana Cadet College and outside the district court in the federal capital Islamabad, the Balochistan government has tightened security measures across the province to deal with possible terrorism.
The provincial government had also imposed a ban on public transport from November 12 to 14, but the notification of the ban was later canceled.
