TEHRAN: Despite the ongoing tensions in the region, Iran has agreed to allow ships carrying oil to Pakistan to pass.
According to sources, three ships will arrive in Pakistan carrying oil from Kuwait, which is expected to improve the country’s energy supply.
It should be noted that this development has come at a time when tensions in the Strait of Hormuz have raised concerns about global oil shipments. Experts say that any disruption to this important route can have profound effects not only on the region but also on the global economy.
Bilal bin Saqib, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Crypto Council, has said in this regard that the crisis in the Strait of Hormuz is not limited to oil alone, but its effects are spreading to the global supply chain.
He said that the fluctuations in oil prices are the initial stage of this crisis, while the real effects may emerge in the coming days.
Iran’s permission may provide temporary relief to Pakistan, but the overall situation in the region is still uncertain. After this development, the government is also considering alternative energy sources and stabilizing the supply chain.
