Israeli Attack on Iran Claims Death of Defense Minister and IRGC Chief

TEHRAN: According to the Federal Minister of Religious Affairs, Sardar Muhammad Yousof, arrangements are completed, and licenses have been issued to sea transport companies regarding the departure of pilgrims through sea routes.

Through this step, journeying by boat to Iran and Iraq is imminent, as it will offer Hajis an organized, safe, and alternative way of transportation.

As announced by the Ministry of Religious Affairs in an official statement, from January 2026, pilgrims going to Iran and Iraq for Ziyarat will only be allowed to depart from authorized Ziyarat Group Organizers who have been officially registered.

As part of this effort, registration certificates have been issued to a total of 67 new organizers for Ziyarat Groups, taking the total registration for pilgrimage companies to 91.

In fact, the ministry has explained that there is an official and comprehensive list of all approved Ziyarat companies on its website, which makes it easier for pilgrims to choose among them.

Federal Minister Sardar Muhammad Yousaf said that the government is taking continuous efforts to provide the pilgrims with the utmost safety, trust, and proper organization for travel arrangements, saying that the opening of the sea route is an important landmark in the process.
