Islamabad court sentences 10 PTI workers in November 26 protest cases

Sindh government grants permission to PTI to hold rally at Jinnah Ground

ISLAMABAD: An Islamabad trial court on Thursday sentenced 10 PTI workers to six months in prison in three cases registered against them in connection with the November 26 protest.

According to details, more than 100 PTI workers were named in these cases registered under the Peaceful Assembly and Public Order Act.

Bushra Bibi, wife of former prime minister and PTI founder Imran Khan, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur were also named.

Two of the three cases were registered in the federal capital’s Ramna police station, while one was registered in Tarnol police station.

The court had declared several accused as proclaimed offenders..
