The newly announced housing society project has been re-branded from the Kuri Model Village project, which CDA last year planned to develop along Jinnah Avenue near Park Enclave and Park View City.
In February 2024, the CDA’s advertisement for a private partnership on the Kuri Model Scheme received a positive response as several developers including DHA, Bahria Town, Park View, and Faisal Hills submitted their applications.
Later, the federal cabinet in September 2024 approved CDA’s summary, allowing the civic agency to collaborate with DHA Islamabad on developing the housing scheme on 10,000 kanals of CDA land in Zone IV of the city.
The re-launch of the Kuri Model Project with the re-branding was announced by the Defence Housing Authority (DHA) on social media and DHA Margalla Enclave’s official website.
“The recent collaboration between DHA and CDA has brought renewed momentum to the long-delayed Kuri Model Village project. This partnership has been warmly welcomed by the real estate community as it represents a major milestone for a project stalled for years,” the statement shared on the housing scheme’s website read.
“The rebranding reflects DHA’s trend of incorporating the “Margalla” name in its recent projects, such as Margalla Orchards on Park Road.”
“The development is part of DHA’s vision to introduce modern housing schemes in Zone 4 of Islamabad, ensuring the area benefits from DHA’s signature design and infrastructure standards,” the real-estate developer said.
