ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has decided to develop a wildlife safari park in the federal capital.

A decision was made in this regard during a meeting with CDA chairman Muhammad Ali Randhawa, as well as senior officials from the authority. The safari park would be designed with a ‘Jungle Theme’ and would include tree homes with arrangements to see wild animals from a distance, as well as an animal rehabilitation center.

The meeting also organized a technical team to prepare a feasibility report for the massive project. The CDA chairman also recommended that benefits be obtained from worldwide safari park initiatives to establish a cutting-edge safari park.

The group also decided to launch ‘Pakistan Street’, which will include worldwide brand food stores. It was decided that construction on both projects would begin in the coming fiscal year following comprehensive technical work.
