ISLAMABAD: Eid ul Fitr namaz will be offered across various places in the federal capital while the biggest gathering will be held at scenic Faisal Mosque at 8:00 am.
As per the details, the federal and provincial governments have announced a three-day holiday from March 31 to April 2 for the festival.
On the first day of the festival, Muslims offer a special Eid prayer for which gatherings are held in mosques and open spaces across the country.
Eid ul Fitr 2025 is likely to be celebrated with religious fervor on March 31 (Monday) across Pakistan.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, the Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (Suparco) said that the Shawwal moon was likely to occur on March 29.
“Consequently, Ramazan is expected to complete [in] 29 days, and the first day of Eidul Fitr will likely be observed on 31 March 2025,” it said.
Like every year in the federal capital, the timings of different mosques have been fixed this year as well. Following is the list of Eid-ul-Fitr prayer times in various mosques of Islamabad.
