ISLAMABAD: Quaid-i-Azam University (QAU) to remain closed for four days, starting from November 22 (Friday) in the wake of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) planned protest on November 24 in Islamabad.
“Given the current situation in the twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad, and anticipating road closures, it has been decided that the university transport services will remain suspended on November 22 (Friday), and November 25 (Monday).”
“All academic activities and examinations will be halted during these days. However, any examinations along with other academic activities, will resume once the roads are reopened,” the notification read.
The university will remain closed for four days including Saturday and Sunday.
