Islamabad’s residents to get five facilitation initiatives on the direction of Interior minister

ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has announced five initiatives aimed at improving services for the residents of the federal capital territory.

Naqvi declared the creation of Capital Emergency Services, Capital Waste Management Company, Capital Safe City Authority, and Central Business District during a visit to the Capital Development Authority (CDA) Headquarters in Islamabad.

He said Capital WASA would also be established for convenience of the people of Islamabad.

According to Naqvi, these actions are a part of the attempts to make Islamabad a role model city. He pushed the Fire Brigade and Ambulance Service 1122 personnel to perform their jobs with responsibility during a meeting.

He said that more ambulances would be available and that the fire department, rescue services, and ambulances would merge into the new Capital Emergency Services.
