ISLAMABAD: A devastating accident on Islamabad’s Club Road resulted in one death and around 20 injured, including a six-month-old.
The incident happened in the wee hours of Tuesday when a HiAce van collided with a car due to reckless driving and speeding, police said.
As per details, the van was traveling at a high speed when it collided with the car, resulting in significant damage to both vehicles.
The police and rescue authorities rushed the scene shortly after the accident was reported.
The injured were taken to a nearby hospital, which has not released an official statement on their condition, however, it was learned that several of them are in critical condition.
The police have launched an investigation into the incident and are working to identify the victims and notify their families.
