ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Railways is all set to re-introduce the fascinating Safari Tourist Train, offering passengers a journey through the cultural and natural beauty of the Potohar region.

As per the reports, Safari Tourist Train is starting its journey from Islamabad’s famous Golra station to historic Attock Khurd. The initiative seeks to promote tourism and showcase the railway’s rich heritage.

Passengers will be treated to breathtaking sights during the journey, including the Margalla Hills, the Sangjani Tunnel, and iconic bridges such as Chablal Bridge, Haru Bridge, Ghazi Brotha, and the historic Attock Khurd Bridge.

The train also crosses the old iron girder bridge over the Indus River, which offers a unique blend of history and natural beauty.

The Safari Train has undergone a remarkable makeover, with meticulously designed interiors, delicious on-board meals, and hot tea arrangements. Luxurious seating and newly constructed washrooms ensure the utmost comfort for passengers throughout the journey.

Safari Tourist Train Ticket Prices and Schedule

The Safari Tourist Train offers an amazing experience at a ticket price of PKR 3000 per passenger. Departures from Golra station are scheduled every Sunday at 9 a.m., promising a day full of exploration and relaxation. The return journey from Attock starts at 6:30 PM, ensuring a memorable return journey.
