Traffic advisory issued for ICC Champions Trophy match in Rawalpindi on Feb 26

ISLAMABAD: Due to the movement of the international cricket teams, a route will be set up on Srinagar Highway, Club Road, Murree Road, Faizabad, Jinnah Avenue, 9th Avenue and Express Highway at different times from 12:30 PM to 3:00 PM on February 26. Due to the route, traffic on Srinagar Highway and Express Highway will remain disrupted and slow.

According to the Islamabad Traffic Police, citizens should use various underpasses and service roads connected to Srinagar Highway to travel in Islamabad during the route. To avoid any travel problems, citizens should travel with a time limit of 20 minutes.

Traffic coming from the Express Highway should use Khanna Bridge, Park Road. Islam Chowk and IJP Road will remain open during the route. Traffic coming from B17, B15 to Blue Area or F6, F7 can use Margalla Road.

Traffic from H13, G13/14 to Blue Area should use the service road connected to Srinagar Highway using G13 underpass. For travel towards Blue Area, F6, F7, use Ninth Avenue and H8 underpass.

Traffic going to Red Zone should use Margalla Road, Express Chowk, Ayub Chowk and Nadra Chowk. Citizens should use Convention Center, Club Road to go to Faizabad from Red Zone.

Islamabad Traffic Police will be present at various locations to guide citizens.
