ISLAMABAD: The moon of the month of Jamadi-ul-Thani 1447H has not been sighted, so the first of Jamadi-e-Thani will be on Sunday, November 23.
A meeting was held under the chairmanship of the Chairman of the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee, Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad, in the building of the Zonal Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Lahore to see the moon of the month of Jamadi-e-Thani 1447 Hijri.
The meeting was coordinated by Hafiz Abdul Quddus and Dr. Shahid-ur-Rehman from the Ministry of Religious Affairs, Government of Pakistan.
Dr. Muhammad Hassan Ali Baig from the Meteorological Department was present for technical assistance. Zonal Ruet-e-Thani members Mufti Muhammad Ahmed and Maulana Fateh Muhammad Rashidi also attended the meeting.
The meeting was decided based on the evidence. Later, the Ruet-e-Hilal Committee announced that the moon had not been sighted, so the first of Jamadi-e-Thani will be on Sunday, November 23.
