Karachi water company launches new project

Punjab govt to install modern water meters

KARACHI: The Karachi Water and Sewerage Services Company has officially documented its plans to enhance water supply services in Mominabad Town through its Annual Procurement Plan for the year 2025 to 2026.

The official procurement documents outline planned construction work, which will involve water infrastructure upgrades and pipeline repair and replacement work, plus additional measures that will enhance supply efficiency throughout the region.

The steps will solve ongoing problems that prevent residents from accessing water supply and distribution services. The official records show ongoing development work in Mominabad Town, but there is no current public announcement that confirms the construction of a new water pumping station and tank, which will serve as an election manifesto pledge.

The formal planning documents of KWSC show that water supply schemes have been included, which confirms that the local area will receive infrastructure improvement work.

The upcoming official announcements will reveal detailed information about how specific projects will be carried out and when their execution will begin. Residents of Mominabad Town have long demanded improved water supply, and any infrastructure expansion would be considered a significant step toward addressing the area’s needs.
