Karachi weather forecast: PMD predicts monsoon rains from July 8

KARACHI: Cloudy skies over Karachi have welcomed the scorching summer heat thanks to cool sea breezes. Citizens are eagerly awaiting the monsoon rains, which the Meteorological Department has predicted will arrive soon.

The department has reported that the weather has changed, the sky is dominated by clouds. Despite this change, today’s maximum temperature is still likely to reach 37 degrees Celsius.

Currently, the humidity level in Karachi is high at 70%, contributing to the hot and humid conditions predicted for the next 24 hours.

However, there is good news on the horizon. The Meteorological Department has indicated that rains are expected in the port city of Karachi starting from July 8. These rains are likely to bring down the temperature and make the weather more pleasant.

As Karachi prepares for the arrival of the monsoon, residents are hopeful that the rains will bring much relief from the heat and humidity. The Meteorological Department is keeping a close watch on the situation and provides updates on the weather situation.

On the other hand, the early morning rains in Lahore have made the weather pleasant, relieving the intense summer heat. According to the Meteorological Department, intermittent rain will continue throughout the day, which will further reduce the temperature.

The monsoon season has officially begun, with clouds covering Lahore since early morning. Significant rainfall has been reported in areas such as Mall Road, Garhi Shahu, Railway Station, Brandreth Road, Gulberg, Ferozepur Road, Model Town, Calvary Ground, Walton, DHA, Wahdat Road, Kalma Chowk, and Garden Town.

A significant drop in temperature has made the weather very pleasant. The Meteorological Department has predicted that this series of rains will continue from July 4 to July 7.

The maximum temperature on Thursday is expected to be 34 degree Celsius, minimum 26 degree Celsius. Thunderstorms are also expected at various times throughout the day.
