KP House in Islamabad sealed

ISLAMABAD: Capital Development Authority (CDA) sealed four blocks of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa House (KP House) in Islamabad on Monday days after Islamabad police broke into the facility to arrest Chief Minister KP Ali Amin Gandapur.

According to the details, Special Magistrate Sardar Muhammad Asif conducted the operation and was accompanied by Assistant Commissioner Islamabad, CDA teams, and Islamabad police.

The blocks A and B of the house were sealed over a violation of building by-laws. While the C block was not sealed as the families were staying there.

Furthermore, rooms constructed for guests at the KP House Islamabad have also been sealed over ‘violation of rules.’

Earlier today, a petition was filed in the Peshawar High Court (PHC) seeking the disqualification of KP CM Gandapur. The petition, submitted by advocate Azizuddin Kakakhel, alleges that Gandapur has violated the laws.

The petitioner added that Gandapur had disobeyed his oath and should be disqualified from holding public office.

According to the petition, Gandapur has consistently taken the law into his own hands since assuming the chief ministerial post.
