PESHAWAR: Regional Meteorological Department has predicted a new spell of rains from 16 to 21 July 2024 in most areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), here on Monday.
As per the details, KP districts including Dir, Chitral, Kohistan, Swat, Malakand, Bajaur, Shangla, Batagram, Buner, Kohat, Mohmand, DI Khan, Khyber, Haripur, Mansehra, Peshawar, Abbottabad, Bannu, Waziristan, Kurram, and others will receive rain during these days.
A notification issued by the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) on Monday said that the Regional Met Office Peshawar has informed that a new series of rains is starting, for which people have been urged to take all precautionary measures to avoid any loss of life, infrastructure, crops and animals.
Further, asked all concerned authorities to take precautionary measures.
Tourists should be informed about the weather forecast, availability of all emergency services personnel and machinery and other resources should be ensured, and all relevant line departments should be alert to restore road connections.
