KPK Govt Increases Grant for madrassas across province

Punjab govt moves to unify seminary registration system

PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Advisor Barrister Saif has said that the provincial government has increased the grant for religious schools from Rs 30 million to Rs 100 million.

The grant was approved in a high-level meeting chaired by the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, stating that the students of religious schools are also a valuable asset of the country.

Barrister Saif said that the combination of religious and contemporary education is the need of the hour. Students are being made compatible with modern requirements along with religious education.

He further said that under the vision of the founding chairman, Imran Khan and the leadership of Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, religious and contemporary education is being promoted in the province. The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government is paying special attention to schools as well as madrassas.
