ISLAMABAD: The laboratory reports of samples collected from Humaira Asghar’s apartment were released on Wednesday.
According to a private news channel report, six samples were taken during the investigation.
Five of them were recovered from various bowls found at the scene, while the sixth was recovered from a container in the kitchen.
Forensic analysis revealed that the powder found in all five bowls is sea salt, which is commonly used to absorb odors and repel insects.
The sixth sample collected from the kitchen was iodized salt, indicating a clear difference between the two substances.
Investigators believe that the use of sea salt in the bowls was not accidental and could potentially offer insight into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
