Lahore High Court revises Eid-ul-Azha holidays schedule

Lahore High Court revises Eid-ul-Azha holidays schedule

LAHORE: The Lahore High Court has sort of revised the Eid ul Azha holidays plan that it had already announced for courts around Punjab, adding one more holiday compared to the earlier notice.

In a notification that the court issued on May 21, it said that Eid al-Adha holidays will now be observed from May 26 to May 28, instead of the earlier schedule, which had been May 27 and May 28.

This updated timeline will apply not only to the Lahore High Court principal seat, but also to its connected benches in Bahawalpur, Multan, and Rawalpindi.

The notification further mentioned that civil and sessions courts across Punjab will follow the revised holiday schedule, as well. The order was issued after getting approval from the Chief Justice of the Lahore High Court, and it also made partial changes to an earlier notification released on December 23, 2025.
