Iranian President’s visit: Public Holiday announced in Lahore on 23 April

LAHORE: The Lahore district will observe a local public holiday tomorrow, as announced by the Government of Punjab

Under the Additional Chief Secretary’s signature, the municipal holiday for Tuesday, April 23, 2024, was announced. As a result, all of Lahore’s educational establishments, including colleges and universities, would stay closed.

The holiday will be observed solely in Lahore District and its subordinate offices. The Punjab Civil Secretariat, its Attached Departments, and Regional Offices are exempt from this.

The announcement is made in advance of the Iranian president’s anticipated visit to Lahore tomorrow.
