LAHORE: The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) and Traffic Engineering & Transport Planning Agency (TEPA) enforcement wing continued their operations on Tuesday, sealing more than 32 properties for violating parking norms in the city.
The TEPA enforcement wing conducted operations targeting parking violations and illegal signboards on Canal Road, Shadiwal Road, Khayaban-e-Firdousi, Johar Town and PIA Road.
During the operation, the teams found many illegal signs from various establishments including prominent stores, state offices, travel agencies, coffee shops, book shops, cafes, showrooms, private schools, academies, restaurants, banks, oil shops, hair salons, motor shops.
In a separate action against illegal constructions, LDA Town Planning Wing IV demolished seven properties in Johar Town and nearby areas. Illegal constructions were pulled down, and properties along Nazaria Pakistan Road were sealed. Demolition debris was also removed from several roads in Johar Town.
