LAHORE: The Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) Lahore has announced a new state-of-the-art park in the provincial city, which will be named after Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif.
As per the details, the PHA Board of Directors has approved the construction of Maryam Nawaz Sharif Park on the banks of the Ravi River
The board has assigned the task to PHA officials to acquire land from the Department of Auqaf and Ravid Urban Development Authority (RUDA) on the banks of the Ravi Belt.
The new recreational facility will be built in Lahore after several years. PHA will also determine the location on the banks of the Ravi, transfer land departmental, and determine funds.
The government of Punjab will fund the project after the estimated cost is determined.
