Lahore weather update: Temperature to hit over 35°C as warmer days ahead after Eid

Lahore weather: Heatwave alert issued for provincial capital

LAHORE: The weather will remain cold during Eid-ul-Fitr celebrations, with the mercury likely to touch 35 degrees Celsius in the coming days.

The heat wave is continuing to intensify in Lahore and other cities of Punjab due to dry weather, with temperatures likely to rise in the coming days.

The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted that the temperature will be particularly high today, the third day of Eid-ul-Fitr, with no rain expected for the next two to three days.

The temperature in Lahore is likely to range from a minimum of 17 degrees Celsius to a maximum of 33 degrees Celsius. As the mercury rises, the demand for cooling systems increases. In addition to fans, the use of ACs has also increased in homes and offices to combat the heat.

Meteorologists have urged the public to take necessary precautions to protect themselves from the heat, especially since no significant rain relief is expected in the short term. The prolonged dry season is raising concerns about the impact on health and daily life across the region.
