ISLAMABAD: According to sources in the Petroleum Division, the levy on diesel has been increased by Rs 6.57 per liter, after which the levy on diesel has increased to Rs 79.54 per liter.
In addition, the levy on petrol has been increased by 39 paise per liter, which has increased the levy on petrol to Rs 66.64 per liter. The levy on kerosene has been maintained at Rs 20.36 per liter.
It should be noted that the government has maintained the prices of petrol and diesel for the next one week.
Current Petrol and Diesel price
According to the notification issued by the government, the price of petrol per liter has been maintained at Rs 299.50 while the price of diesel has been maintained at Rs 311.47 per liter.
International Market
On the other hand, crude oil prices in the global market continue to decline. According to the latest data, the price of US crude oil has decreased to $68.65 per barrel, while the price of Brent crude oil has decreased to $71.52 per barrel. The price of Abu Dhabi benchmark Murban crude has also decreased to $67.50 per barrel.
