LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has issued a big news for the registered people of Apni Chhat, Apna Ghar scheme.
Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has directed the concerned authorities to release the second installment of the scheme immediately, so that the people who were selected through lottery last year can continue the construction of their houses without interruption. It was informed in the briefing that the construction of about 700 houses is going on on a daily basis across the province.
Details of construction and repair projects worth Rs 204 billion in 52 cities of the province were also presented in the meeting. Instructions have been given to start these projects by February 22.
In addition, instructions have been issued to complete the first phase of the Lahore Development Project and complete the second phase by April 30.
The Chief Minister also directed to establish a live dashboard for effective monitoring of other development projects underway in the province so that the progress of each project can be seen on time.
